Chelsea: From champions to chumps
Hey everyone and happy Easter break So sorry for the silence.Being a Masters student in journalism keeps one on their toes constantly. Just thought I'd talk a little bit about about my team Chelsea, soon to be dethroned by Manchester City as early as this weekend if they win the Manchester derby . Anyway back to Chelsea. This has been on record one of the worst seasons,well 2015-16 was lot worse after finishing 10th. But my goodness, its really hard being a Chelsea fan these days .Dumped out of Europe by a fantastic FC Barcelona, lost in the semis of the Carabao cup to Arsenal and top 4 slipping away, not even winning the FA Cup will spare Antonio Conte, who looks certain to leave in May. I'll be forever grateful for changing Chelsea and making them champions again but at times he's been tactically outdone (Arsenal home and away,Man City home and away just to name a few) Also the recruiting of players has been abysmal. Why would you sell Matic to your direct rivals ? or...
