New season,same problems

Apologies for keeping you waiting.Uni keeps one very busy,especially final year.
Last weekend saw the start of the 2015-16 EPL Season and they were many shockers including Arsenal's 2-0 defeat at home to West Ham.Not many saw that coming,especially not me.
The usual suspects won their opening games:Man Utd squeaked past Spurs with a 1-0 victory at Old Trafford while Philippe Coutinho snatched a late winner for Liverpool at Stoke.The champions Chelsea held on for a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge while playing with 10 men for most of the half.A lot was left to be desired by their performance.One is wondering if Jose Mourinho is going to make any new signings before September 1 as most players seem to be on holiday such as the ever reliable Ivanovic and concerns are Chelsea are lacking depth in defense but that may all change with Baba Rahman of FC Augsburg in Germany likely to come to Stamford Bridge subject to the 2 clubs agreeing a fee.In my opinion a back up right back and centre half are needed as there in only Kurt Zouma available.John Stones or Raphael Varane would be handy but are Chelsea willing to pay 30 million Pounds for either players.
Overall I think Chelsea were lucky to get a point and Man City on Sunday wont be a walk in the park especially without Thibault Courtois.Not sure if Chelsea will appeal the red card but if they don’t then it'll be a tough battle at the Etihad on Sunday afternoon.
