Sorry for the long delay.WiFi had "been down",turns out I accidentally disconnected the phone..whoops sorry but I'm back now and so are my weekly posts on my blog

So lets start with the Champions League.As a Chelsea fan,I didnt expect the team to win in Paris looking at how PSG are already 24 points ahead in Ligue 1 so it was going to be tough but a 2-1 defeat isnt so bad.In 3 weeks at Stamford Bridge Chelsea can have a real go at PSG and reach the last 8.

Impressive win today against Man City in the FA Cup.Some will say its only because they prioritised UCL and have injuries bla bla.Yes true but you have to admit Guus Hiddink has really turned Chelsea around and he deserves credit.Hopefully he'll stay on next season(which seems unlikely as he's retiring) but Diego Simeone,Allegri or Antonio Conte would do great at Chelsea.

So next game is away at Southampton on Saturday and I think its going to be a tough match.They're in a good run of form and already won 3-1 at Stamford Bridge in October so its time for payback.Its going to be a close match but I'm sticking my neck and saying a slender Chelsea win..2-1.

Arsenal 2-1 FC Barcelona
Bayern Munich 2-1 Juventus 
Dynamo Kiev 1-3 Manchester City
Athletico Madrid 2-1 PSV Eindhoven

 Good evening everyone I hope you are well and having a good start to the week. Sorry for the radio silence. It has been a busy couple of weeks, but I'm back now. After winning at Anfield against Liverpool on Thursday night, Chelsea earned a much needed win against Merseyside team Everton on Monday night. The victory puts the Blues in touching distance of Leicester City (3 points) and Manchester United (4 points). So thats 9 games unbeaten in the league for Thomas Tuchel, who has definitely turned things around at Stamford Bridge since his arrival in January.  One  of the positive elements on Monday night was the performance of Kai Havertz. The big money signing from Bayer Leverkusen has flattered to deceive this season but the arrival of the German tactician has definitely improved his performances. Champions League: What a week of drama

  Copyright fr.uefa.com Good afternoon everyone I hope you are all well and enjoying the last few weeks of the summer holidays,albeit in difficult circumstances. So the UEFA Champions League made its return 2 weeks ago with 2nd leg ties that still  needed to be played like Chelsea v Bayern Munich, Lyon v Juventus and Manchester City v Real Madrid and boy were there surprises with Lyon making it past the Italian Champions despite a 2-1 defeat and of course the end of Maurizio Sarri's tenure as head coach. Bayern Munich and Man City qualifying werent really shocks as the damage was done in the 1st leg, at least for Chelsea but thats not the exciting part.So for the first time ever 2 French teams in the semis and PSG's first semi final appearance since 1995.  Last Wednesday saw PSG come from behind to defeat Atlanta 2-1 with Marquinhos and Choupo-Moting gettting the goals. Chelsea v Southampton: 2 points dropped by the Blues

 Good afternoon everyone  I hope you're well and had a good weekend. So what a dramatic weekend of football we had starting with the Merseyside derby and it continued with Chelsea-Southampton which finished 3-3 after the Saints managed to grab a point at the death thanks to Vestergaard. Once again Chelsea fail to kill off a match and this will cost them dearly come end of the season. Where do I begin? oh yes the defence. With Mendy injured, Kepa was put in the starting XI to prove his worth to the coach and he failed the test. With Thiago Silva being left out with Sevilla to come in midweek it was the duo Zouma-Christiansen and I wasnt convinced one bit. Thankfully Lamaprd will be able to call on him for tomorrow's match and with Man United to come at the weekeend,it'll be interesting to see which team he sends out tomorrow night at the Bridge.Glad that Werner got a double and Havertz scored as well.
