Same Chelsea,same problems

Hope you all had a restful weekend! Mine was rather a mixed one for obvious reasons. With Chelsea going out of 2 tournaments in 1 week,it does sum up the season as a whole...disastrous.The manner former Chelsea boy Lukaku scored those 2 goals at Goodison Park was appalling to say the least and with European football looking unlikely next seeason,its going to be difficult to attract big name players like Pogba,Varane,Cavani etc to Stamford Bridge or hold on to the likes of Hazard,Courtois etc.
Hopefully who ever is coming in,most probably Italian National Manager Antonio Conte has a lot of issues to solve on and off the field.What on earth was Diego Costa thinking?I still wonder until today.Conte will need to fix an ageing defence,a weak midfield and a toothless strike force.Besides Costa.there isnt anyone that scares defenders,definitely not Remy or Falcao. Mikel needs to go,we need someone who can pass as well as Cesc Fabregas and 2 new centre backs are needed. Terry and Cahill were good last season but have so often been destroyed by quick players like Aguero,Vardy etc.At least Zouma will be fit next season.All we need is another young CB like Varane,Stones,Marquinhos etc.
Or better yet start playing young guns like Loftus-Cheek,Traore etc.There's no point in having 33 players on loan and not use 1 of them in the senior squad.At least next season there'll be less competitions to compete in,just 4.That way we'll have an advantage in the title race and can rotate when need be.With Conte you're guarenteed someone who'll fix the defence and try various formations such as 3-5-2,4-3-3(attacking),4-5-1 or 4-4-2. 4-2-3-1 has been used a lot by previous Chelsea managers and I think its time for change.I think 4-3-3 will work with Fabregas playing a bit more forward then allowing the likes of Hazard,Willian and Pedro to express themselves on the field.
So that's my opinion.Hopefully next season Chelsea will be more competitive.
