Happy new month and Workers Day!

Sorry for the long delay. Had a lot going on since I'm a Masters student.Anyway after Chelsea's crushing defeat to Man City some weeks ago....not surprised by the result.It does sum up our season,I've decided to spare myself the trouble and not watch any more Chelsea games for the rest of the season.

Yes its good they beat Bournemouth 4-1 last weekend but tomorrow its Tottenham in a London Derby at Stamford Bridge and I know its going to be a feisty affair and Spurs are keen on keeping the title race alive till the last game.The interesting thing is that the Blues can decide the destiny of the title as the last game is a home game against Leicester City,who never seem to give up.

The good news is this is unlikely to happen for many years to come.So next season Chelsea will be competing for the EPL,although rumour has it Courtois might be on his way out but I'm hoping its not true.He's been unlucky to have a poor defence in front  of him and also spent 3 months out injured.I still think he has a bright future at the club and Conte should find a way to keep him. 

The addition of Radja Naingollan is an excellent one as he'll provide defensive cover and bite that has been lacking since the sale of Ramires.This might signal the end of John Obi Mikel,who's been at the club for almost a decade and seems to survive despite the club having several managers

Anyway I'll predict tomorrow's match and looking at Spurs poor record at the Bridge(no wins in the Premier League era in league or cup competitions with the last win coming on February 11 1990) I find it hard for them to get anything from Stamford Bridge but looking at form,they're slight favorites as they want to win the league,while Chelsea want to end the season and focus on the next one as they have nothing to play for so I say it'll be a slender Chelsea win

Prediction:Chelsea to win 2-1 with Diego Costa scoring the winner

Real Madrid 2-1 Manchester City
Bayern Munich 2-0 Athletico Madrid

 Good evening everyone I hope you are well and having a good start to the week. Sorry for the radio silence. It has been a busy couple of weeks, but I'm back now. After winning at Anfield against Liverpool on Thursday night, Chelsea earned a much needed win against Merseyside team Everton on Monday night. The victory puts the Blues in touching distance of Leicester City (3 points) and Manchester United (4 points). So thats 9 games unbeaten in the league for Thomas Tuchel, who has definitely turned things around at Stamford Bridge since his arrival in January.  One  of the positive elements on Monday night was the performance of Kai Havertz. The big money signing from Bayer Leverkusen has flattered to deceive this season but the arrival of the German tactician has definitely improved his performances. Champions League: What a week of drama

  Copyright fr.uefa.com Good afternoon everyone I hope you are all well and enjoying the last few weeks of the summer holidays,albeit in difficult circumstances. So the UEFA Champions League made its return 2 weeks ago with 2nd leg ties that still  needed to be played like Chelsea v Bayern Munich, Lyon v Juventus and Manchester City v Real Madrid and boy were there surprises with Lyon making it past the Italian Champions despite a 2-1 defeat and of course the end of Maurizio Sarri's tenure as head coach. Bayern Munich and Man City qualifying werent really shocks as the damage was done in the 1st leg, at least for Chelsea but thats not the exciting part.So for the first time ever 2 French teams in the semis and PSG's first semi final appearance since 1995.  Last Wednesday saw PSG come from behind to defeat Atlanta 2-1 with Marquinhos and Choupo-Moting gettting the goals. Chelsea v Southampton: 2 points dropped by the Blues

 Good afternoon everyone  I hope you're well and had a good weekend. So what a dramatic weekend of football we had starting with the Merseyside derby and it continued with Chelsea-Southampton which finished 3-3 after the Saints managed to grab a point at the death thanks to Vestergaard. Once again Chelsea fail to kill off a match and this will cost them dearly come end of the season. Where do I begin? oh yes the defence. With Mendy injured, Kepa was put in the starting XI to prove his worth to the coach and he failed the test. With Thiago Silva being left out with Sevilla to come in midweek it was the duo Zouma-Christiansen and I wasnt convinced one bit. Thankfully Lamaprd will be able to call on him for tomorrow's match and with Man United to come at the weekeend,it'll be interesting to see which team he sends out tomorrow night at the Bridge.Glad that Werner got a double and Havertz scored as well.
